Impact damage to properties and structures comes in many different forms. In the past we have seen many cases of property damage, resulting from fallen branches, to automobile impacts and train derailments. One of the more interesting cases we inspected was a roof damaged by frozen ice which fell from an aircraft. Strange, but true! The most common cause of impact cases is damage due to vehicle impact.

Extreme caution should be taken while inspecting for repair work as structural damage may have occurred, making the situation dangerous. An engineer may be required to determine the extent of structural damage and permits may need to be obtained. Licensed trades are always used in such cases.
